Paper Pumpkin Fun!

I am going to use these cute Paper Pumpkin pinwheels to say thank you to a couple of friends who ordered with me through Stampin' Up!  Aren't they adorable?  These were so easy to make, too.  Stampin' Up sends everything you need in one easy kit to make 24 of these adorable pinwheels.  You get 24 pre-cut pieces of double sided designer paper (8 each of 3 different patterns), 24 straws, 24 brads and even the cute flags are included!  I stamped mine with a saying from one of the demonstrator stamp sets, but this Paper Pumpkin kit comes with 3 photopolymer stamps:  "party", "celebrate" and a row of 5 stars.  You also get a package of glue dots, a hank of Basic Gray baker's twine, 24 cellophane bags, 24 silver clips.  In case you were thinking, "what would I do with 24 pinwheels?", let me just assure you that you could use the materials in this kit to make some very cute cards, gift bags with bows or pinwheels or even use these things to adorn your scrapbook pages.  Interested in having some Paper Pumpkin cuteness delivered to your door?  Check it out at www.mypaperpumpkin.com and if you decide to join, be sure to select me as your demonstrator!

I hope you like My Paper Pumpkin as much as I do!  Connie Hobbs

Timeless Hello

I made these fun cards for a Sketch Swap in one of my Yahoo groups.  I was very pleased with how these came out using the Etcetera DSP, Night of Navy card stock and Timeless Talk stamp set.  The ribbon is Calyso Coral chevron ribbon.  And I added two Candy dots at the hub of the wheels at the last minute.  Hope you like my card.

Pssst...

Here is a card that I made for my upline's monthly meeting swap.  I had to make 15 of these and I'm very happy with how they turned out.  The flower is from Happy Watercolor, a new set in the 2014 Occasions catalog.  I stamped it onto a 4 x 4 piece of Watercolor Wonder DSP and cut it out with snips.  Then I ran the remaining piece of DSP through the Decorative Dots embossing folder before adhering it to my card front.  When you cover that with the top layer, you'd never know there was a flower-shaped hole in it!  Here is the inside in case you were interested:

I hope you like my card!  Connie

Hello

I signed up for a swap that was based on Sketch SC469 on Splitcoast stampers.  The sketch begged for a doily in place of the large circle. I used several new products on this card including the Fresh Prints DSP stack for the background, Simple Stems stamp set for my flowers and Simply Celebrate for the sentiment.  I used the Framelits from the Secret Garden to cut out my flowers and leaves and the paper for the leaves is from the Quatrafancy DSP.  I hope you like my card.  Connie
